Meeting of O.L. Dmytrieva with the Representative of American Bar Association
On August 11, 2009 the Director of Law Company “Dmytrieva & Partners”, President of Ukrainian Advocates’ Association met O.L. Dmytrieva met with the Deputy Director of American Bar Association / Rule of Law Initiative – Ukraine (ABA - Ukraine) P.A. Pavlychenko. During the meeting the possibilities of cooperation between Law Company “Dmytrieva & Partners” and ABA – Ukraine within the participation in the Organizational Committee of National Client Counseling Competition which will provide organizational and financial support of the Competition. P.A. Pavlychenko stressed that this Committee is established for the purpose of transfer of organization, control and coordination of the Competition to Ukrainian partners. The participants of the meeting agreed that the said Competition should not be held under the aegis of one law company. The activity is to be carried out jointly and openly. In her turn O.L. Dmytrieva drew attention to that will be right and effective to join to the activity of the said Committee not only law firms and private organizations but also non-governmental organizations, in particular Ukrainian Advocates’ Association. During the meeting the participants agreed that in the near future special rules for participants of the Organizational Committee will be worked out. A clear distribution of duties regarding organization and holding of the Competition will be provided in them
